If you are new to Primula growing, or are thinking of entering a show for the first time, please do not feel inhibited by all the rules and standards which you will see in this section. Without your plants, or with only the plants of a few “experts”, there can be no real show! And the public will appreciate a good display of Primula, especially when they see the huge variety of our beloved genus. So if you know of a show in your area (See notices in the “Local Chapters” section), please don’t hesitate to enter even a few plants. Many shows have a Novice Class which you can enter if it’s your first show. It will be a most enjoyable experience, and – Who knows? – you may win a prize!
